TOURNAMENT DATES:
College Showcase(U16-U17): May 10-11, 2008

Empire Cup(U10-15): June 14-15, 2008
(application deadline May 20, 2008)
FEES
$375 per team in U-10 through U-12 age groups
$475 per team in U-13 through U-15 age groups
$575 per team in U-16 through U-17 age groups
Full payment is due prior to tournament acceptance. Applications will not be considered without payment
TEAMS
The Empire Cup and College Showcase is open to all USYSA and US Club Soccer affiliated teams who are in good standing with their state associations. All premier, classic, and travel teams U-10 and above are eligible to enter. The tournament committee does reserve the right to combine age groups (by 1 year only) if an insufficient number of teams register to form a single year age group.
FORMAT
All teams, weather permitting, will be guaranteed 3 matches - two on Saturday and one on Sunday. Finals will be played on Sunday afternoon. We are committed to placing teams in groups with other teams of comparable strength/ ability that ensure competitive matches.
RULES
The Empire Cup and College Showcase will abide by NYSW rules with the following exceptions: 1) three guest players will be allowed per team, 2) Matches in U-10 through U-12 age groups will consist of 30- minute halves, U-13 through U-15 will play 35-minute halves, and U16-U17 will play 40 minute halves. AWARDS
There will be individual player awards for first and second place teams in each division. Exchange of club patches between competing teams is encouraged. All U10 players will receive participation awards
REGISTRATION
All teams must register the Friday evening of their playing weekend (6-9pm @ tournament headquarters). The documentation required for registration can be found at the registration link.
